Terms of Service

By accessing or using Comic Repo ("the Service") at comicrepo.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use the Service.

Comic Repo is an online shop operated by Comic Repo LLC that sells curated comic books and collectible memorabilia directly to customers. Comic Repo LLC is the sole seller and merchant of record on the platform. We are a party to every transaction on the Service. Some products may be sourced from third-party supply partners, but in all cases Comic Repo LLC is the seller to you, the customer.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. Comic Repo LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.

You may not create multiple accounts, use another person's account, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

All product listings — including condition descriptions, grades, images, and pricing — are provided by Comic Repo. We make every effort to describe items accurately, but minor variations in color, grade, or condition may occur due to photographic limitations. If you believe an item was materially misrepresented, please contact us within 14 days of receipt.

All prices are listed in US dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us.

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase. Our full return and refund policy is available at comicrepo.com/returns. Key terms:

• Return window: 7 days from the date of confirmed delivery (not the order date).
• Condition: Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped — unhandled, in original packaging.
• Misrepresented items: If an item differs materially from its listing description or grade, we will cover return shipping and issue a full refund.
• Remorse returns: For returns not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Refund processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of our receiving the returned item.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to purchase items for fraudulent resale or chargeback abuse
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other customers
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise collect data from the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Circumvent any technological measures we use to provide the Service

All content on Comic Repo — including logos, design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Comic Repo LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any such content without our express written permission.

Supply partners who submit product content (photos, descriptions) to Comic Repo retain ownership of that content but grant Comic Repo LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with the Service for the duration of the partner relationship and as reasonably necessary thereafter.

Comic book covers, character names, and related imagery are trademarks of their respective publishers. Comic Repo LLC does not claim ownership of any such third-party intellectual property.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comic Repo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to Comic Repo LLC in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. Comic Repo LLC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Comic Repo LLC, its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your purchases or returns, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Comic Repo LLC agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona for the resolution of any disputes arising under these Terms, except that either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending resolution of a dispute.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any complaint within 30 days of receiving written notice.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
