Returns & Refunds

1. Return Window

You have 7 calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery to request a return. The return window begins when your order is marked as delivered by the carrier — not from the date of purchase or shipment.

Requests received after the 7-day window will not be accepted, except where an item is found to be materially misrepresented (see Section 3).

2. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be in the same condition as when they were shipped — unhandled and unaltered
  • Be returned in their original packaging (bag, board, slab, or outer packaging)
  • Not have been removed from a graded slab or re-cased
  • Not show signs of damage caused after delivery

We photograph all items before shipment. If a returned item arrives in a condition different from how it was sent, we reserve the right to deny the return or issue only a partial refund.

3. Misrepresented Items

If you receive an item that is materially different from its listing — including an incorrect grade, significant undisclosed defects, or the wrong item entirely — we will make it right at no cost to you:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos documenting the issue
  • We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
  • Upon receipt and verification, we will issue a full refund including original shipping charges

Minor photographic variations in color that do not affect grade or condition do not constitute misrepresentation.

4. Remorse Returns

If you simply change your mind, you may still return eligible items within the 7-day window under the following terms:

  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping
  • The item must arrive back to us in original condition (see Section 2)
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable for remorse returns
  • A non-refundable payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 of the original transaction) will be deducted from your refund amount

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer handling or storage
  • Items where the slab has been cracked, tampered with, or removed
  • Items returned after the 7-day window (except misrepresented items per Section 3)
  • Items purchased during clearly marked final-sale promotions

6. Carrier Damage

If your order arrives visibly damaged due to carrier mishandling, please:

  1. Photograph the outer packaging and the item before unpacking further
  2. Contact us within 72 hours of delivery at [email protected]
  3. We will file a carrier claim on your behalf and work to resolve the issue

We take great care in packaging — every comic is bagged, boarded, and boxed; graded slabs are double-boxed. In the rare event of transit damage, we will do our best to make it right.

7. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Return Request — Order #[your order number]"
  2. Describe the reason for your return and include photos if the item is misrepresented or damaged
  3. We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions
  4. Ship the item back using a trackable method and share the tracking number with us

Do not ship a return without first receiving a return authorization from us. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

8. Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item and confirm it meets the eligibility requirements, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Processing fee: Payment processors do not refund their transaction fees when a refund is issued. For misrepresented items (Section 3), Comic Repo absorbs this cost — you receive a full refund. For remorse returns (Section 4), the non-refundable processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) is deducted from the refund amount.

Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account. If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, please contact us.
