Kaine Parker is one of Marvel's most compelling anti-heroes, born from the darkest chapter of the Spider-Man mythos — the Clone Saga. A flawed and unstable clone of Peter Parker created by the Jackal, Kaine was the first attempt at replicating Spider-Man's genetic template, and that imperfection defined him. Plagued by cellular degeneration and a tortured psyche, he spent years operating in the shadows as a deadly vigilante, leaving a distinctive mark — literally — on those he hunted.
