Judge Dredd — real name Joseph Dredd — is the iron-fisted lawman of Mega-City One, the sprawling future megalopolis that stretches along the eastern seaboard of a post-apocalyptic North America. Debuting in 2000 AD #2 in 1977, Dredd was created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, instantly establishing himself as one of the most iconic characters in British comics history.
